Welcome to my online home! I’ll be blogging about mysteries, thrillers, and horrors, of course, in print, in film, or on TV. I’ll be recommending books, movies, shows, and stories–and maybe not recommending some as well. We’ll try to keep it mostly positive here, though. I’ll mention my upcoming readings and appearances, and I’ll probably mention an idiosyncratic thing or two. I’ll try to keep a pace of a few times a week, but don’t get bogged down. Stop by when you can! Bookmark it and say hello every now and then. I’ll maybe post vids, too.

What’s my creds for writing about them? I’m a published writer of mysteries and horror–or speculative fiction, if you will. I gotta say, it’s cool to have an idea, write the story, and get paid for it. I’m a member of the Horror Writers Association of America (HWA), Rhode Island chapter. I’m a member of the We Are Providence Writers’ Group, which publishes the anthologies you’ll see on this site. And, maybe most importantly, I’m a lifetime (don’t worry how old) fan and appreciator of mysteries, thrillers, and horror, which is, of course, why I write them.

Of course, take a look around. There are stories for sale (with legal disclaimers, of course). I’m on Goodreads, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as LinkedIn and others I’ve forgotten about. Look for those links on this page–especially Goodreads, if I can geek out a little bit like that.

Speaking of geeking out, if you’re one of the few people in the world who know what T206s are, I’m a big collector, over 91% of the set. You can find pics of it on PSAcard.com. My set is rated #40-#44 in the world, and it’s still growing.
