A very short story, almost flash fiction, of just under 1,800 words, that packs a lot. PI Brad Foster retrieves stolen incriminating (and titillating) photos, finds a missing kid who’s late for a bath, and maybe even proves a little Einsteinian Space-Time Quantuum Mechanics—in just 7 pages. Brad Foster is also the main character in “Pink Lemonade,” a much more serious—and maybe a little melancholy—story also found on this page, and in the novels-in-progress Cursing the Darkness and Remembering James.
Originally published in the now-defunct Over My Dead Body! The Mystery Magazine Online, in July 2014, edited by Cherie Jung. “Pink Lemonade” was, too.
